LA Aurora No. 4, corona (5.25x44). Dominican Republic
This corona is a typical LA Aurora, being typically assertive for a Dominican. As you’d expect from this factory, the taste, though barely medium strength, is very rich, with a fine, dark zing of spice from the Cameroon wrapper.
I like the way it sweetens toward the end, while the strength and spice build. Bourbon just lies there, but cognac adds good leather and chestnut flavors. I’ll bet a dark beer would work nicely, too.
A great after lunch cigar. Lovers of cigars might find this perfect in the evening. About $2.85.
